A few months ago, Instagram shocked the world hiding the likes of posts.
These days you can only see that “john and others” liked someone’s pic but you can’t see the likes count.
Don’t fret. Today, I’ll show you how to get the like counts of Instagram posts. (Yes, the actual “1220 likes”)

This works as of May 24, 2020. (Note that Instagram is quick to patch things, so this might not last)
How to get Instagram like counts
- Go to the post and grab its url (i.e. https://www.instagram.com/p/B_x3iB_naw8/
- Go to Embedly and paste that url
- See the likes count in the preview window!
and boom! there you have it. You can now see that 11,393,851 people liked kyliejenner’s tennis pic.
That’s how you can unhide Instagram likes.
