There are countless brands that use this principle by giving out something free to their customers and potential customers.

This will elevate the trust they have for you and it can make your customers feel you’re giving them quite a lot without making them pay.

For example, blue is usually associated with trust, green is associated with calmness, while yellow is associated with attention.

This theory is based on a fact that people tend to add value to those items they consider rare, while they cut the value of those items they consider easily attained.
Once your customers see that a product or a service you provide is limited, the psychology kicks in and most of them start wanting and needing the said product or a service.

If you’ve made an e-book, make it free for a limited time period; if you’re offering premium services, offer a periodic discount, make sure you understand the needs of your audience and make sure you meet those needs, even with a limited number of people from your audience.
It will show your resolve and your open approach and it can significantly help you with both growing your business and developing new relationships with your focus group.
These are just some of the basic psychological principles commonly used in marketing these days, but there are a lot more of them.
They all have basically the same purpose – teaching you the best possible way to understand your audience, clients, and customers while helping you to expand your business.

Psychology can help you understand what people are thinking about and why, so you can use that information and make your business stand out.
