1. Accepting these terms

By using this site (alejandrorioja.com and its subdomains), subscribing to the newsletter, buying a course, or engaging me for paid work, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. The content on this site

Posts, OG cards, audio narration, and all original writing are © Alejandro Rioja. You can:

• Read it.
• Share it (link to it, quote it with attribution).
• Print it for personal use.

You may not, without written permission:

• Republish it on another site (full copies, paywalled wrappers, etc.).
• Use it to train commercial AI models. (Personal experimentation is fine.)
• Scrape it at industrial scale (more than ~100 pages/hour).
• Resell it.

Reasonable LLM citation that links back is fine and encouraged — that's why the site ships llms.txt and llms-full.txt.

3. The newsletter

Free. Delivered weekly when there's something worth saying. 1-click unsubscribe in every email. I won't sell your address. If you stop opening, I may eventually remove you from the list — it's not personal.

4. Paid products and services

Courses

You pay once, you get lifetime access to the version of the course you bought, including any updates I make in the next 12 months. Refunds: full refund within 7 days of purchase if you've completed less than 25% of the material. Email me via the contact form.

Audits and consulting

Scoped per engagement. Deliverables, timeline, and refund policy are defined in the proposal you receive before paying. Standard terms:

• 50% deposit, 50% on delivery.
• Deliverables are yours — you can use them however you want, including internally and externally.
• If I can't deliver within the agreed timeline due to my schedule, you get a full refund of any unused portion.
• If you cancel partway, I refund the unused portion of work.

PR placements

Articles in the 7-site press package run on my owned media properties. Placements include a non-removable promotional disclaimer per FTC guidelines. SEO benefit is genuine but not guaranteed (Google's algorithm is the boss, not me).

5. Acceptable use

Don't use the site to:

• Send malicious code or spam.
• Impersonate me or claim affiliation that doesn't exist.
• Reverse-engineer the site to find security holes (responsible disclosure is welcome — see /.well-known/security.txt).
• Anything illegal in your jurisdiction or mine (Texas, USA).

6. No professional advice

I write about SEO, growth, marketing, business strategy, and AI agents. My posts and courses are educational. They're not legal advice, medical advice, financial advice, investment advice, or tax advice. Talk to a licensed professional before making decisions where the stakes warrant it.

7. Warranties and liability

The site is provided "as is." I'll do my best to keep it up, accurate, and useful, but I can't promise it's free of bugs, that every link works forever, or that what worked yesterday in Google's algorithm still works today.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, my total liability to you for anything related to this site or any paid work is capped at the amount you paid me in the 12 months before the claim. For free readers, that's $0.

8. Termination

I can suspend or remove your access to paid material if you violate these terms (e.g. sharing your course login with the internet at scale). I'll refund the unused portion if it's not a willful breach.

9. Changes

These terms can change. I'll update the "Last updated" date at the top whenever they do. If a change materially affects paid customers, I'll email you.

10. Governing law

Texas, USA. Any disputes go to a court of competent jurisdiction in Travis County, Texas — unless we can settle it over a real conversation first, which I'd prefer.
