SiteWide MCP Semrush

Semrush MCP, with your own analytics beside it.

Ask Claude about any domain’s organic keywords, traffic and backlinks from your Semrush key, and compare it in the same chat with what Search Console and GA4 say your site actually got.

Free: 500 requests a month, no card. Paid: $9/mo after 30 days free.

You asked Claude Sample · numbers illustrative

“Which keywords bring my competitor traffic that I get no clicks for?”

  1. 1 semrush_organic_keywords Semrush
  2. 2 gsc_search_analytics Search Console

Of their top 200 keywords, 64 bring you no Search Console clicks at all. 18 of those are how-to queries on topics you already cover.

Those 18 are the fastest wins: improve or add a section to pages you already have.

Why use Semrush through SiteWide?

Semrush runs its own official MCP server, and if Semrush is all you need, use that. SiteWide puts Semrush next to your first-party data, so one question can cover a competitor’s keywords and your own clicks.

The Semrush tools.

You never call them by name. Ask the question and Claude picks the tool.

Questions about Semrush and AI.

Does Semrush have an official MCP server?
Yes, a hosted one. Use it if you only need Semrush. SiteWide makes sense when the same question needs your Search Console or GA4 data too.
Does it use my Semrush API units?
Yes. Every call runs on your own key and spends your units. SiteWide never uses a Semrush key of its own.
Does it work with ChatGPT and Cursor?
Yes. Any client that supports remote MCP servers can connect: Claude (claude.ai, the desktop and mobile apps, and Claude Code), ChatGPT in developer mode, Cursor and others. Clients that support MCP’s OAuth sign in to your account; for one that doesn’t, create a token URL on your account page.
Can anyone else see my data?
No. Your account is scoped to your own sites, checked on every call. What the tools return goes straight to your assistant: it isn’t stored, sold or used to train AI models. The details are in the privacy policy.
What does it cost?
The free plan is 500 requests a month across every tool, with no card. The paid plan has no request limit and starts with 30 days free, then $9 a month at the launch price, which ends October 31, and $29 after that.
